Missions Journey: Students — Buckley Space Force Base

Matt Knight is a military chaplain endorsed by the North American Mission Board. A major in the US Air Force, he is stationed at Buckley Space Force Base near Denver, Colorado. He enjoys doing ministry in a military context because he gets a behind-the-scenes look many lay people don’t see. Military bases are exclusive; not every pastor can gain admittance. He leads weekly religious services and offers daily spiritual care for military personnel, both airmen and guardians. As Matt interacts with people from different religious backgrounds and beliefs, he seeks to meet them in practical life situations while sharing the hope of the gospel.
